This is me as a Frogboy being walked by my childhood dog.
One of the reasons I am so fond of corgis is that I had one as a kid. Her name was Buttons. I don’t remember too much about her. I do know that she was incredibly smart and very protective. She knew my brother and I as babies and took on the role as our official guardian. When we would cry or scream she would bolt into the room to check shit out and make sure we were okay. We used to have a slip’n’slide that we put at the top of a steep hill. It was extremely fun, but Buttons thought it was much too dangerous. She would run along side and bark at us. She would bite at our legs trying to keep us from going down the hill to our doom.
Most of the time we were annoying kids that drove her nuts. If we were being loud and crazy she would hide under the bed. But even though we were spastic little boys that interrupted her corgi naps, she seemed to love us and protect us all the same.
