Recently in a chat conversation with the delightful Echo, I found myself with my foot in my mouth. It often resides there. In order to make up for my verbal gaffe, I promised to write a tribute to Boo, Echo’s best friend and favorite stuffed animal. This is that tribute…
I don’t know Boo well, but I do know he brings comfort to one of my friends, and that makes him an okay guy to me. I had the chance to interview Boo for this tribute, and was able to find why Boo is the fine upstanding Stuffed-American that he is.
thefrogman: can I interview Boo? some details about his/her life could be helpful
Echo: Of course you can. Let me just put him at the keyboard.
thefrogman: Boo…what gender are you?
Boo: I am a male!
thefrogman: What do you like to do for fun?
Boo: Mostly, I like to hang out with my girlfriend, Roo, and practice my breakdancing routine.
thefrogman: Echo is pretty awesome. You are lucky to get to hang out with her
Boo: Well, I think that it’s more her being lucky to hang out with me, but whatever you say. She is pretty good to me. Except, when she gets stressed out she tends to play with my ear a little too much. It’s rather uncomfortable. Also, I haven’t gotten a bath in a while. Maybe you could talk to her about that for me?
thefrogman: I will mention it. What kinds of things do you guys do together?
Boo: We take a lot of pictures together and she brings me to her sleepovers a lot. I don’t know if you’ve ever been to a female sleepover, but man those girls really know how to talk! And occasionally, we go out of town together and visit family.
thefrogman: Okay, I’m going to need you to confirm a theory for me. At these “sleepovers” you mentioned, have you ever witnessed the girls wear lingerie and have pillow fights?
Boo: That theory is very wrong. If you want to know the truth, girls are disgusting when they sleepover together. They watch action and horror movies, and eat so much pizza it makes you sick to think about, and they wash it down with soda that puts even my best belches to shame.
thefrogman: damn
thefrogman: Well, I think I have most of the information I need. Is there anything you’d like to add? Something I should know to properly give you a tribute?
Boo: I think that everyone should know that I am planning on starting an organization to protect abused stuffed animals everywhere. It will be called SAPA (Stuffed Animal Protection Association) and that I welcome any suggestions to the development of it.
Well, there you have it. Friend, lover, stuffed animal-atarian. Clearly Boo is a one of a kind stuffed dog of awesome. So Boo, I salute you and all that you do to keep Echo safe and sane. Kudos.
