The Frogman

photo This is a sconce. This is a representation of what I’ve been doing with my days. Right now my room is a bunch of studs. And not the manly kind with pecs that go forever. You feel like you are walking around inside a skeleton with a cold concrete floor. Some lady in some far off town has decided how much my stuff is worth and now I have a modest budget to replace my belongings and turn my studly room into a living space.
Instead of blogging and creating things, I find myself up till all hours of the night picking out sconces for my wall. Deciding which speakers to replace my old waterlogged ones. What kind of computer do I want? Do I need these things, or just want them? What can I live without? And every time I think I’ve kept within that budget, more expenses I didn’t anticipate pop up.
Contractors and electricians and bears, oh my.
It’s maddening. I’m pretty sure the 8th circle of hell is just people forced to perpetually renovate things. Complete with banging hammers at 7am.
