This is true. Spiders cannot fly.
However…
There are some that can balloon. They shoot some webbing out of their butt and form a triangular shaped spider parachute. They wait for an updraft and just float away.
They may not be able to fly… but they can certainly parachute onto your head, stow away in your hair, and bite you in your sleep.
