The Frogman

photo Otis is back from the vet. The operation went well but he is really out of it. His eyes are droopy and he walks around in circles acting very confused. We put him in his crate and he fell fast asleep. They said unless he starts bothering the area he won’t need a cone of shame.
They gave us some pills for him. One is for pain and the other is a “doggy downer.” We also had an RFID tag put in. So if by some chance he gets lost, they’ll know who he belongs to.
It’s hard to see him so out of it but I know how resilient he is. He’ll be chewing my shoes again in no time. Before the operation he was already showing signs of frustration. His bed was the victim of many humps. I think this was the best thing for him.
