What I meant was if they were not anonymous, I could have dealt with the sourcing issue in private and not wasted the public’s time with it. Fixing a source isn’t a big deal. I’m happy to do it. I won’t get mad or publish your name in anger for helping me fix it.
As for your situation… I will admit that there were times I should have protected people’s identity when answering messages. It is hard to predict a large group’s reaction. I always tell people never to send hate on my behalf, because I don’t respond with hate even when faced with the biggest of jerks. I don’t understand why anyone would think I would be okay with that. But it does happen and I’m sorry if it happened to you. That is something I am aware of and will take steps in the future to prevent.

We don’t typically have a policy of changing shit just to change shit. We work hard to make sure the proper people get plenty of credit. So if what you say happened, it is more likely a mistake than some devious plan to get more followers.
But I can’t correct anything if you don’t tell me which post you are talking about. And you don’t need to be anonymous to alert me of such mistakes. I am happy to fix them.
