It's not the insults that bother me...
I can take an insult like a pro. I’ve been rebounding fat jokes since I was a little nipper. But lately something about these comments has been bothering me. For a while I thought I had gone soft. I thought my thick skin had been worn away by the anonymous hate. But I realized that wasn’t the case. The reason why the hate started depressing me is because not everyone has a thick skin....

This is a frontpage reddit of a piece I did. The good news is that they sourced me in the comments and I got some decent traffic from it. I’m always grateful when reddit folks help me out like that.
But reddit comments are a tricky thing. If you created the thing they are commenting on, there is a certain point at which it goes from lovely compliments to people calling me a fat neckbeard....
